IMPRESS IR is designed to impart a red color and improve the coverage and retention of seed treatments on the treated seed when mixed as an additive with EPA registered seed treatments such as fungicides and insecticides.

IMPRESS IR is not a seed treatment polymer.
IMPRESS IR is a novel patent-pending seed treatment additive for use as an alternative to traditional seed treatment polymer products.
IMPRESS IR improves retention of the treatment slurry on the seed by enhancing coverage and deposition on the seed-coat during the application process.
The resulting performance of IMPRESS IR is reduced “dusting-off” of seed treatment active ingredients during the seed handling and planting process.
IMPRESS IR is not labeled for all crops at this time. While it is expected that IMPRESS has potential for use in a wide range of seed treatment applications, the initial release of the product is for use on cereals only.
IMPRESS has been fully tested and approved for use on cereals and validated to be safe for use on these crops.
Suggested Use Rates For Use on Labeled Crops (wheat, barley, oats, rye, triticale, rice)
When used as the only source of colorant in a treatment slurry mix:
2.00 to 2.25 fluid ounces per 100 lbs of seeds.
When used to enhance color intensity of pre-colored treatments:
1.50 to 1.75 fluid ounces per 100 lbs of seed
For best results and mixing compatibility, slurry mixes with IMPRESS IR should be designed for a minimum total mixed slurry application volume of 6 fluid ounces or more applied per 100 lbs of seed. Rates should be adjusted to obtain the desired coverage and performance based upon the seed size, seed coat, total slurry mix volume, and seed treatment application equipment.
