Medalist, when used in a water management program, will distribute water more uniformly through the root zone thereby eliminating localized dry spot, enhancing turf quality and reducing watering frequency. 


Medalist is specially formulated for use with irrigation injection systems. It improves water use efficiency everywhere you irrigate. 


Medalist contains ingredients derived from renewable resources. This nonionic surfactant provides safe, effective treatment of highly maintained turf when used in accordance with label directions. 


Medalist is formulated for use on golf courses, athletic fields, residential and commercial turf and landscape areas.


Use Rates

Golf Course Greens and Tees: 8 fl. oz. diluted in 1 to 3 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet in advance of high heat stress. Apply an additional application of 8 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (7 to 14 days following initial application) diluted in the same manner.

Monthly Maintenance Schedule: Using dilution rates as indicated above; apply an initial application of 8 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet. Follow-up with monthly applications at a rate of 4 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet. 

Golf Course Fairways, Athletic Fields and General Turf Areas: 32 to 48 fl. oz. diluted in 40 to 50 gallons of water per acre. Reapply monthly throughout the season.

Irrigation Injection: Inject 32 to 48 fl. oz. in 40 to 50 gallons of water per acre per month throughout the growing season.

Soil Mixes and Lawn Care: 8 fl. oz. diluted in 5 gallons of water, then apply to 1 cubic yard of soil mixture or each 1,000 square feet of planting area. 

Lawn Care: 4 to 8 fl. oz. diluted in 2 to 3 gallons of water applied per 1,000 square feet.
